Challenge
Although The Natural Nipple solved a real and widespread feeding problem, the brand faced barriers to D2C growth in a fragmented maternal health landscape. Discovery was dominated by legacy brands, clinical pathways were disconnected from consumer purchasing, and there was no clear ecosystem connecting education, trust, and product adoption—limiting market exposure and customer acquisition.
Results
The Natural Nipple evolved into a recognized voice and gathering point within the women’s health and maternal wellness space—bringing together women, practitioners, and partners into an engaged, values aligned ecosystem. It demonstrated how community first design can drive trust, participation, sales and long term relevance in deeply personal health categories.

We re-designed the brand to bridge clinical insight, embodied knowledge and peer-to-peer support.
We developed community infrastructure rooted in trust and lived experience, designed and delivered meet up events across the US, online and in-person educational programming, hosted intimate conversations, and established partnerships with hospitals, practitioners, wellness leaders, wellness spaces and aligned brands. The Natural Nipple became a space where modern maternal health, emotional care, and cultural dialogue could coexist—offering women both guidance and global community.
